This classic Italian dish is the perfect dessert to make in advance. It’s simple to make, tastes amazing, and is a must have dinner party recipe. Ladyfingers dipped in boozy coffee, are sandwiched between layers of a creamy mascarpone filling, which is all then topped off with a generous dusting of cocoa powder. Traditional tiramisu is made with raw egg whites which are whipped and folded into raw egg yolks, sugar, and mascarpone, but for this recipe we’ve opted to cook the egg yolks (by making an Italian custard) and replace the raw egg whites with whipped cream. If you’ve never had homemade tiramisu before this recipe is definitely one to try!
